Gluten Free Restaurant Review: Molto Italian

Where: Molto Italian, Kingston Foreshore

Italian food has to be one of my favourite cuisines and it is also one that can be quite difficult for a coeliac to find when eating out, especially from a cross contamination perspective.

Molto has gluten free pasta and pizza options, as well as some delicious shared plates on the menu. I tried the boiled potatoes with melted cheese layered on top, as someone with lactose intolerance, I admit I cheat sometimes and cheese is definitely my weakness.

When asking the waitress how they handle their GF pizzas and after informing her I was a Coeliac, she was very accommodating and instantly knew what I was talking about. She said they have their own trays and utensils and are as careful as they can be. Although, they always have to have a disclaimer and inform you that regular pizzas are cooked in the same oven.

For desert I had the chocolate cake with dehydrated raspberries, fairy floss and sorbet – and it was absolutely delicious.

Here is a link to their website and Menu, take a look and see what you would order when you go!
